Description
The shadow knows,
Its secrets it keeps,
Silent and still,
As the world sleeps.
It stretches and shrinks,
As the light moves around,
Following its prey,
Without making a sound.
In the corner it lurks,
Hiding from sight,
An elusive figure,
That comes alive at night.
It dances on walls,
And plays with our fears,
A shape-shifting creature,
That whispers in our ears.
The shadow knows,
What we try to hide,
Our deepest desires,
Our secrets inside.
So let it follow us,
And show us the way,
Through the darkness it guides us,
To a brighter new day.

Revisiting. Can't say more - still like the graphic appeal of this image. Congratulations on your tie for 2nd place in the recent Human Shadow contest.
